Pinocchio’s History

Established in 1988, Pinocchio’s is a privately run Italian family business.  The premises at 64 Castle Street, however are much older with records dating back to 1889 when a greengrocers business operated there.

After 15 years in business, the previous owner passed the reigns to the Fierro brothers from Naples.  Now 30 years on, Massimo Fierro continues to lead the team alongside his wife, providing some of the best Italian cuisine in the area.

Fresh ingredients

Pinocchio’s brings you the freshest of ingredients locally sourced in Kent and imported from Italy.  Dishes are prepared to order using authentic recipes by our passionate Italian chefs.  We specialise in dishes from Naples and the Amalfi coast – the home of pizza and the most renowned pasta and buffalo mozzarella in the world!

We have a daily selection of fresh fish and meat dishes as well as a wide range of pasta and pizza to suit all tastes, including gluten free options, also our homemade desserts are not to be missed!

What a find, thank you trip-advisor. Off the main drag, you must make the effort to find this gem. Our food was exceptional, fresh seasonal hot and beautifully cooked. House wine was more than good and the service excellent. No more to say than if I’m Canterbury you have to eat here.
